【Ending isolation and home quarantine series

If you are tested positive# for COVID-19 and you are staying at home or a community isolation facility (CIF), your isolation will end, depending on the number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine you have received and your Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results obtained during the isolation period.

If you have already received at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, you may conduct RATs on Day 6* and Day 7*. If the test results on these two successive days are negative, you may leave your home or CIF on Day 7 for your daily activities. If you are tested positive on either day, repeat the test daily and you may leave when you obtain negative results on two successive days.

If you have not received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, you may conduct RAT on Day 14*. If the result is negative, you may leave your home or CIF. Otherwise, repeat the test daily and you may leave when result turns negative.

You do not need to wait for your household member(s) to recover (if infected) or complete quarantine.

Those admitted to hospitals should follow the discharge criteria of the hospitals.

# By nucleic acid test or RAT
* Currently, the day following testing or collection of sample is counted as Day 1; if there is no such testing or collection record, the day on receiving the test result is counted as Day 1.
