Paracetamol is used for reducing pain and fever.

Currently in Hong Kong, there are 777 registered pharmaceutical products containing paracetamol.

The Department of Health has communicated with relevant suppliers, manufacturers and local manufacturing organisations, requesting an increase in supply of the products to cater for the demand.
